Swimming Ribbons

Travis did really well at the swim meet on Saturday. He placed first in the 50 butterfly and the 50 backstroke. He placed second in the 50 backstroke and the 50 breaststroke. He is really becoming a great swimmer. We are proud of you, Travis.
Ashley did good also. She placed first in the 50 butterfly, second in 50 backstroke and third in the 50 freestyle and the 50 breaststoke. Ashley was excited to be a part of the swim team this year. She is trying hard to master all the strokes. We are proud of how hard you try and do your best.

Great job you guys!! I wish we had neighborhood swim teams around here like we had when I was growing up. We only have 1 city team, which is VERY, VERY hard to get onto. They turned away more than 65 qualified kids due to lack of space this year!! That's why we signed N up for a pre-competitive team this year. It's the first year it's been offered here. It's a little late in my book!!

Wow, that is awesome!! I never felt like I really learned how to do swim strokes properly. That is great for Travis and Ashley!

I can not believe how grown up your kids are :) I need to see them as well :) We don't have a trip planned out yet but I know we will be down in August for the scrap booking thing, so we can try to meet up then :)

Pretty impressive! You've got some pretty talented kids. Where do you keep all the awards? You really are a soccer mom.
