March Update

After looking at our calendar, we had a rare open weekend March 13th. We decided to wake up early and drive down to Disneyland for the day. The kids have been asking when we would get to use our free "Give A Day - Get A Day tickets. They were so EXCITED when we told them we were actually going. We had a good time being together. Ashley and Travis were pretty good sports doing alot of what Courtney and Jared wanted to do. A few times Randy took Travis on some of the fun rides for a 13 year year while the rest of us did Dumbo and other rides more enjoyable for the younger kids. All in all it was a fun day to be together.

On March 27th was the Opening Ceremonies for baseball. Jared is on the Rock Hounds and Travis is on the Beavers. Travis' coach opted to practice instead of going to the ceremonies so we only have pictures of Jared's team. Another couple of busy months with games between the two boys. Alot of their games overlap this year. Should make for an exciting season.

Highlights of February

O.K. I know that I am WAY behind in my blogging but I thought I better catch up on February and March because Ashley is all over me to blog her birthday. I just can't skip over the two months and blog April so first here is February in a nutshell.

We made a quick trip up to Utah for our nieces' wedding on February 12th. There was still some snow on the ground, which the kids loved, but the weather was great for traveling. Casey and Nick were sealed in the Bountiful Temple. It was such a great sealing. We were very happy we were able to go. They make such a cute couple.

After the wedding reception we drove up to stay with my dad. On February 13th, Jared got to celebrate his birthday with lots of family. We started off the day at Ihop for a birthday breakfast, thanks to my dad. One of my sisters' and her family were able to join us. It was great! Jared LOVED being the center of attention.

After breakfast we drove down to Randy's sisters' house. All of Randy's family was able to be there. We had birthday cake and opened presents. I think this will go down as one of Jared's favorite birthdays! Thanks Kim for once again playing hostess.
