Jared turned 6 years old on February 13th. He was soo excited. Ever since Christmas he started counting down to Courtney's birthday, knowing that his was right behind. He was really excited because at school they were having their Valentine's Day party, so he got to celebrate all day. I think it took him 6 tries at getting all his candles out. One breath per candle.
This is where Jared is a unique little boy. The next two pictures are the two things he wanted more than anything. Jared loves to clean and work around the house and outside. We saw this dustpan and broom at Target and for 3 weeks that is all he talked about getting for his birthday. He is such a great helper. After the celebrations were over, he had to try out the broom and dustpan and swept pretty much the whole kitchen floor. What a great kid!
Jared also wanted his own cleaning towels. He always used ours, and when we went to clean they were usually all dirty. We had tried to give him a couple to use but it just wasn't enough for the amount of cleaning he wanted to do. So when we asked him what he would want for hi s birthday, he said he wanted 7 cleaning rags of his own. He was so excited when he got 12. He has been cleaning up a storm. Jared, we love you. Thanks for all you do.

Wow! Jared, your future wife is going to be one lucky gal! Have fun cleaning.
Can Jared come and live at my house??? He is just the cutest kid. You are so lucky to have him living with you.
Send Jared MY way! I could use a good helper like him in my home.
Simon is right behind him in the helping catagory. We were unloading the car with groceries and he kept wanting to take in things. We finally had to give him one or two cans to make hm happy.
Those are the funniest birthday presents! I love that you got him just what he wanted. What an awesome little boy!
Wow - i can't believe he wanted those type of presents! That's funny - and good for you all at the same time.
So cute! He must know that when you're helping you're happy! Happy Birthday Jared.
